On September 10, 2007, I will begin a new chapter. I will become the primary caregiver for my dad. Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in June 2007 while living by himself in Arizona. Together with my siblings, we flew down to Arizona and scooped up our very feeble father and moved him to Waterloo, IL. It is here the adventure begins......

My sister, Anne, is the strongest person I know. She has sacrificed so much to be where she is today. God is smiling on her.
Move day in Waterloo was crazy, hot (90 degrees and humid), back-breaking work. So many people chipped in on both the Illinois end and the Colorado end. Thanks to everyone who took part. Although Dad may not be able to appreciate everyone's efforts, we all know that having Anne here is a life-saving move for him.
Jane, you're way too kind. Thank you for all your support in this and life in general. I love you.
